Craigslist is selfish with the data

Recently, Craigslist issued a C&D against PadMapper for mashing their data with Google maps.  It sounds like the Craigslist is pulling a duck and cover and has asked other mashups to not reference their data.  Carsabi has announced that they will not include any Craigslist autos in their mashup from now on.  Carsabi is an excellent product.  It is a better way to search for a car instead of Craigslist's clunky search.  Carsabi has a unique choice right now. They could start their own listings and publicize their ouster from Craigslist.... If Carsabi has had enough visibility in the market it could get a lot of Craigslist's auto listings...

Vizio laptops

Yes the company that brought you all those delicious big screen PCs is about to shake up the PC world.  The new line of laptops seems to be very similar to the MacBookPro that I just posted about.  Not sure if the ram is upgradeable, or if the battery is replaceable, but that is not what is important about this offering.  The big news to understand is that Vizio is loading their laptops with just a plain jane Windows OS and that's it.  NO Bloatware!  and cue applause...

MacBookGlu

When last I wrote I was completely annoyed with how Apple was patenting stupid ideas...  Well, here is a beautiful aluminum case full of stupid ideas.  The new MacBookPro.

The ram is soldered in.     Can't upgrade
The batteries are glued in.   Can't replace
The lcd is glued to the glass.  Can't recycle
